Education
In 1947 the Goldberg family immigrated to Los Angeles, California, US in order for Frank to further his education. Furthermore, in this move the Goldberg name was changed to Gehry and Ephraim adopted the name Frank. He attended the University of Southern California to further his studies of architecture. He graduated in the year 1954 from the school of architecture. Later, he studied city planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
